(1). Mr. K. Parasaran :

He is probably the oldest Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of present time as he is 93 years old in view of the date of birth 09.10.1927.
He was born in Srirangam District of Tamil Nadu and his father –Kesava Iyengar was himself a Lawyer.
He started his legal practice in the year 1958 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
After holding several post as an Advocate he was ultimately appointed as Attorney General of India on 09.08.1983 and continued as such till 08.12.1989.
Apart from an Advocate he also entered into politics when he was nominated as Member of Rajya Sabha and as such he defended in the year 2014 the National Judicial Appointment commission before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
Although he has appeared in so many important cases during his song professional career but he got more fame when he appeared in a recent time in favous Sabrimala Case (supporting the ban upon ladies of certain age group from entering into Sabrimala Temple of Ayyappan deity) & Ayodhya Case (supporting the title of Hindu contestants regarding right and title over the Ram Janmabhumi).
